Maisel Synagogue
It houses an exhibition of silverware synagogues in Bohemia and Moravia.
The synagogue is a Maisel Synagogue neo-Gothic, dating from 1590 - 1592 and rebuilt in 1893 - 1905. Located in the former ghetto Jewish Town, Josefov , e lle houses an exhibition on the history of Jews in Bohemia and Moravia (earliest settlement, the beginnings of emancipation).
rebuilt in a Gothic Revival style by Professor A. Cave 1893 - 1905 . All that remained original layout intact Renaissance was the plan of tripartite central hall with the top tier of women.
Synagogue Pinka .
The second oldest synagogue in the ghetto is the school Pinka, which was built in 1535, the site of a former place of worship. The synagogue had several turpitude until it was decided to make a memorial in the years that followed 1954. After
devastation of the Soviet occupation, the renovation was completed in 1992.
During excavations in 1968, was discovered in the basement, vaulted spaces housing the remains of several ancient wells and ritual baths probably dating from the late 15th century.

History of Josefov begins in medieval Jewish communities, while two live sets: Western Jews settled around the Old New Synagogue, the Jews and the Byzantine Empire installed on the site of present English Synagogue. Jews were subject to discriminatory laws. Thus, in the sixteenth century they had to wear the yellow star of David. To survive, many of the Jews was forced to convert to Christianity or to live in the ghetto.
In 1784, this period of repression ended when Joseph II grants Jews equal rights and social policies. The neighborhood is named in memory. In 1850, Josefov is integrated with the city of Prague.
The circuit of synagogues in the Jewish quarter, is easily accessible on foot.
