Romanesque architecture is one of the first styles associated with the spread of Christianity in Europe. His austere forms are a distant echo of ancient Rome, to which it owes its name. We can also consider the novel as a living link between antiquity and the Middle Ages, which imports the memory of ancient forms in countries that have never had direct contact with the ancient world, such as Bohemia.
