Fun Wording For A Breakfast Invite

Musee de l'Hotel-Dieu Mantes La Jolie

Today, still in the Yvelines , I'll tell you about a museum: the museum of the Hotel-Dieu Mantes La Jolie

D First, near the Place Saint-Maclou, then the top level of the door of the Fort, the Hotel-Dieu is located in the reign of Charles V at the corner of the square of the Stage and Street the Heuse. The hospital and the chapel dedicated to St. John the Evangelist, are reworked; nuns, then there Augustinian treat the poor, orphans and pilgrims. Decommissioned in 1854, places a welcome turn photographic studio, a theater and film before becoming a museum.

In 1964, the chapel of the Hotel-Dieu is listed as a historical monument for its facade of the XVII th century, listed in 1948. Harmonious and classic, it has retained its Corinthian pilasters, its large rose window surmounted by a winged angel's head, and ornaments (shell, strings ...).
And since 2002, the Musee de l'Hotel-Dieu de France Museum is labeled.
