Castle and Comedy Bazemont

To talk about the comedy Bazemont (a village of Yvelines of 1544 inhabitants) requires first that I am talking about the castle of Bazemont:
This castle was built at the initiative of Charles O, who had just acquired the lordships of Sainte-Colombe and Bazemont . His family, which included financial, governors and armed men, also kept these areas for nearly two hundred and seventy years, and that in 1765 he became the property of Louis-Pierre Parat of Chalandray. The castle was bought in 1893 by the municipality, who installed the mayor and the schools of the town.

In 1804, the lord of Louis-Pierre Parat Chalandray he built in his park an auditorium that called "The Comedy . The arched windows that give it its charm overlooking the large trough built in 1789 and became a pond.
Later the building served as a workshop and then a second home before being purchased by the Municipality in 1986.
"The Comedy" has found his vocation as village halls and public meetings or private.
