The three texts in this book address issues relating to gender and sexuality, but also, consequently, the complex relations and subvert the norm. If they take as its starting point the mobilizations that have grown to demand legal recognition of same-sex and same-sex families, they attempt to reflect, more generally, on dissent and minority policies, particularly when 'they come, inevitably, to address the law and fight for its transformation ...

To be effective, subversion can only be situated, partial and still again. Subverting is a transitive verb: it subverts something at a given time, or can not subvert anything.
